General Hesitation To Switching Over To VOIP

There is always hesitation as to why people should move from a traditional service that is provided locally, to a service that is provided online.  Well, generally, people think of VOIP as a way to save money and to expand as much as they can.  VOIP helps millions of businesses everyday make a good living by offering up the best service they can.  If I can do it, which I have in the past, moving over to VOIP service, then so can you.

The hesitation that people usually have is with in reason and some of them are:

-       The concern’s for Voice clarity

  • This is a big thing when it comes to customer service over the phone.  If the quality of voice going over VOIP isn’t the best, why switch when you are getting better quality service locally?
  • Reason you should switch is because SO FAR, from my experience and many others as well, a lot of the Provider’s we have used, they have not disappointed us.  Even some of them had better system’s than most local providers did.  It all in the end depends on reviews and whom you decide to go to.

-       The concern’s for Reliability

  • I can understand the reliability for uptime, hardware, and what not since I too was using VOIP in the past and am still using it.
  • These days, service providers use either Cisco equipment or some other type of RELIABLE equipment due to the fact that VOIP is a globally growing business and it is growing at a rapid pace.

-       The concern’s for Slow Internet Connection

  • Generally, those companies that have Cisco equipment, which most companies do these days as they are one of the highest rated, the service provider’s have a excellent internet connection to ensure you problems arise what so ever.

-       The concern’s for Emergency local calls

  • Such examples are 911 calls, or hospital calls, and what not.
  • Your provider MUST allow you to configure through your online interface control panel so that you can get the 911 and other emergency numbers into your system and through the shortcut number, anyone from your company can call on the emergency numbers, anytime of day.

These are just some of the concerns that people have generally.  I don’t blame any consumer for asking these questions, I too would ask these questions.
